The Rooibos
Kalahari Rooibos
Rooibos tea comes from a shrub known as South African "red bush", with flat leaves and yellow flowers edged and whose aromatic leaves are dried and used to make an herbal tea.
The drink made from the dried leaves of Rooibos tea is not a true (not from the tea tree) but rather an herbal infusion (an infusion), and however widely known as Red Tea or Rooibos Tea.
The Rooibos has a color, distinctive flavor and aroma that distinguishes it from most other teas.
The flavor can be described as slightly sweet and fruity. The vibrant amber Rooibos comes from the natural color that develops during the postharvest "fermentation" (oxidation) caused by natural enzymes in the plant.
Rooibos is a pure natural product, does not contain colorants, preservatives or additives.
